Paulius started out in music when he was little. He sang in Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet theater children choir. In 2012 Paulius started his trombone studies at the National M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts, in the class of Marius Balčytis. During his studies there Paulius has competed in various national and international competitions both as a soloist and member of chamber music ensembles.
Paulius has had masterclasses with teachers around the world including Frederic Belli, Indalecio Bonet, Jonas Bylund, Niels-Ole Bo Johansen, Per Kristian Svensen, Eric Lindblom, Brandt Attema and others.
In 2018 Paulius began studying in J. Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory, continuing to study with Marius Balčytis. Paulius actively performs solo and with various chamber ensembles, as well as plays piano and composes. In 2019 Paulius joined the contemporary music ensemble Synaesthesis. Since then he has written and recorded many solo and ensemble compositions of his own.
