SILVIJA ČIULADYTĖ
Silvija Čiuladytė has been the international project manager for the Contemporary Music Ensemble Synaesthesis since 2015. During this time, Silvija has created a number of projects, the largest of which was CROSSROADS, an international event that celebrated collaboration between young composers and professional artists from Austria and Lithuania. Alongside this, in 2015 she organised a concert tour for the Austrian string quartet GOYA in Lithuania.
Silvija began her studies in the M. K. Čiurlionis School, under the guidance of Petras Radzevičius, before moving to study viola in the Mozarteum University Salzburg, Austria, with Thomas Riebl. As a performer, she has been involved in many international masterclasses and competitions, as well as performing with the Kaunas City State Symphony Orchestra, the National M. K. Čiurlionis School Symphony Orchestra, and in the Salzburger Kammermuzik Festival. She has also won the EMCY chamber music prize, and has attended masterclasses with some of the greatest international professors including Veronika Hagen, Barbara Westphal and Garth Knox.
Her interest in contemporary music led her to be part of contemporary ensemble ÖENM, the International Ensemble Modern academy (IEMA), and has premiered many works by composers within the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and the University Mozarteum.
