> Arminas Biržys
Arminas Bižys was born in 1994, in Alytus. He played saxophone in the Alytus Youth Symphony Orchestra. Arminas moved to Vilnius, where he continued music studies at the Vilnius Juozo Tallat-Kelpšos Conservatoire.
After graduating from Vilnius Juozo Tallat-Kelpšos Conservatoire in 2012, Arminas began to study classical saxophone in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA), in His doc. A.Fedotovas class.
Arminas is currently a member of the saxophone quartet Katarsis4, an ensemble of spontaneous and free music. Arminas also plays in a Nu Jazz, Experimental music, Folk Jazz band called Brave Noises, contemporary music ensemble Synaesthesis and other music bands and collaborations. He is also the baritone sax player in the Ministry of Interior Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Representative Orchestra.
